IST marked a momentous occasion on Friday, September 1, 2023, as it hosted the 13th edition of its esteemed Excellence Evening. During this distinguished event, accolades, scholarships, and commendations were conferred upon exceptional students, distinguished employees, and valued partners.
Under the distinguished patronage of the Minister of Environment, Water, and Sanitation, the ceremony witnessed the presence of numerous eminent dignitaries from both the public and private sectors. This included representatives from the overseeing ministry, eminent members of the Burkinabe employers’ association, and esteemed collaborative educational institutions.
This celebration of excellence coincided with IST’s recent recognition as the premier private higher education institute in Burkina Faso for the academic year 2022-2023, a distinction bestowed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, with a rarefied rating of 18.36 out of 20.
IST, in partnership with Sinergi Burkina since December 2019, commands a network of 8 campuses, including a digital campus, offering 32 CAMES-accredited diplomas to a diverse student body exceeding 5000. Guided by the visionary leadership of its founder, Dr. Issa COMPAORE, the institution is poised for further international expansion, with imminent branches in Côte d’Ivoire and Uganda.
