A great fan of investment capital, Aboubacar has always wanted to make a career in private equity. His ambition was realized in 2019 when he joined I&P as a junior investment officer (internship), before being retained by SINERGI as an Analyst. Today, he is a Seed Project Manager and is in charge of boosting SMEs supported by I&P Acceleration program in Sahel, financed by the European Union’s Emergency Trust Fund for Africa. Aboubacar holds a Master’s degree from the Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion de Tanger (ENCGT) in Morocco.
Aïcha Savadogo works as investment director at Sinergi Burkina.
Before joining the team in May 2016, she worked as financial analyst at the SOFIGIB, a Burkinabe guarantee fund. She has a Master in financial engineering from ENSA Agadir-Maroc (École Nationale des Sciences Appliquées) and a diploma in financial and accounting management from ENCG Settat Maroc (École Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion)
Alida Ouedraogo is a Seed Project Officer.
Before joining the team, she was previously at the Bank of Africa Burkina Faso as Business Manager for large companies and then at Coris Meso Finance as Business Manager for SMEs. Her career path has allowed her to be in contact with different sectors such as finance, trade, agriculture, construction and mining.
She holds a Master II in Trading Rooms, Trading and Risk Management from INSSEC Bordeaux and a certification as a consultant from the Maison de l’Entreprise in Burkina Faso. She is passionate about finance, entrepreneurship, technology and innovation.
Brice Gaël Soubeiga is an Investment Manager at Sinergi Burkina since May 2021.
He has a varied experience. He has worked in banking in Senegal, then in meso finance in Mali. His last position was as General Manager of an SME in Ouagadougou. In parallel to his responsibilities, he co-founded and managed a firm specialized in consulting and support to SMEs in the sub-region.
Gael holds a Msc in Finance from EMLYON Business School and a Master in Accounting and Financial Management from CESAG (Dakar).
Cyrielle Traoré is a Project Manager for the FFS-PME project (Facilitation of Structuring Financing to Burkinabe SMEs).
After two internship periods of 9 months as a financial analyst, Cyrielle joined the Sinergi Burkina team in December 2021 as a financial analyst and then as a project manager from February 2022.
Passionate about the field of corporate finance and entrepreneurship, she holds a Master in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Coventry University and a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Companies and Organizations from the University of Ouagadougou.
Germaine joined Sinergi Burkina in September 2014.
She previously worked in a Non-Governmental Organization called OCADES Caritas Burkina as Accounting Secretary. In particular, she was responsible for the financial and accounting management of several projects and programs.
Germaine holds a DUT in Finance Accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and financial techniques, a Master’s degree in accounting and financial technical science and a Master’s degree in finance, accounting and audit.
Gloria Ouedraogo holds the position of Financial Assistant.
Before joining Sinergi Burkina in May 2022, she worked at Bakou Logistics as an assistant to the CFO and as a treasury officer. Before Bakou Logistics, Gloria made a six-month internship at Sinergi Burkina as a financial analyst in 2019.
She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting Control Audit from the University Institute of Thomas Sankara University.
Job Zongo joined the team in 2019 as Managing Director of Sinergi Burkina, an impact fund sponsored by IPDEV 2 and dedicated to financing and supporting small businesses with high potential in Burkina Faso.
Job worked for 12 years for ACFIME, a Decentralized Financial System as Internal Audit Manager, Branch Manager and Operations Director.
He has created a consulting firm in finance and management specialized in supporting start-ups, SMEs and business incubators. He has been a consultant in finance and entrepreneurship in local and sub-regional programs and has taught finance in several business schools in Burkina Faso.
He holds an Msc in Finance from EMLYON Business School and a Master’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of Ouagadougou and trained in inclusive finance in Turin (Italy), digital finance in Nairobi (Kenya) and agricultural finance in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
Josias Diamitani joined the Sinergi Burkina team in January 2022 as a financial analyst, after two internships in the Casablanca office of EY (Ernst & Young). He also works part-time on the FFS-PME project as a monitoring and evaluation officer. Passionate about entrepreneurship and management sciences, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Applied to Business Management (MIAGE) from ISGA’s Casablanca campus, and a Master’s degree in Audit and Management Control from the National School of Commerce and Management in El Jadida, Morocco.
Soumaila Derra joined the Sinergi Burkina team as a financial analyst in February 2021.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and a master’s degree in accounting – control – auditing from the Aube Nouvelle University (AUBEN), a partner of the Institute of Computer Engineering of Limoges (3iL) and the University of the Mediterranean (Aix-Marseille II).
Timothée is the a Seed Funding Manager. Holder of a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University Joseph KI ZERBO in Burkina Faso, he has more than 15 years of professional experience in business capacity building, SME advisory and management of projects and programmes supporting the development of SMEs in Burkina Faso.
Before joining the team in June 2020, Timothée worked for 9 years at the Business House of Burkina Faso (MEBF) where he held the positions of Business Management Consultant, Head of the Project Support Department, Head of the Business Innovation and Advisory Support Department and Head of the Project Design and Formulation Department respectively. He has managed several SME support projects financed by financial partners such as the French Development Agency and the World Bank. Prior to MEBF, he worked in other structures, notably in consulting firms.
